Corner View : TYPICAL SOUVENIR

I don't know if it is a real "typical souvenir" or not, but there is no doubt this is my corner view!
There is a pedestrian bridge at the end of the street we live in. I call it "my bridge". Wherever I want to go by foot I need to pass this beautiful view. Yes, there is my city. my beloved city, Tehran. Though this picture just shows a very tiny angle of it, for me it has one world of messages. One world of  memories. One world of feelings. One world of ... wow! I can't believe these drops of tear ...
I am not sure if this feeling can be understand by all of you... When you own something that you feel you may lose it. You own something very precious you may leave it...

Shokoofeh, your love for your country and city is so evident here. That is beautiful - a feeling of being landed. May God bless, preserve, and prosper your nation and all that you love there.

A striking view complete with stormy sky. How lucky that you have your own bridge to perch from as you stroll by.

Be well. Live swell.

What a wonderful picture. And that view must be something special to be your ´souvenir´.
And I hope you can enjoy it for years to come!

No one can take your memories away from you. I hope you don't have to leave and will have lots of new adventures in your neighborhood to remember some day down the road.

What a beautiful picture, and I can only imagine the attachment to the city that you will always carry in your heart. But know that you will always have it imprinted in your soul, you will always have it in your heart.

I think 'In Company with Sparkles' said it beautifully "may god bless, preserve, and prosper your nation and all that you love there"

May ultimate peace shine everywhere.

my dear one,
This is a stunning photo. And heartfelt words. I love the way you bring Tehran to me, through you. I will do my part to preserve it.

I have been in china, where blogging is blocked. I have come out to Hong Kong to visit my daughter and I feel like my bird, Exceeding Joy, who escaped his cage.
So good to see you. Love the photos of you with your movie friends.

this is a stunning photo!

i have been thinking about the comment you left a few weeks back on my blog. about not being interested in politics and especially the relations between jews and muslims. see, i agree. i won't get into that either, and i was happy to hear back from you. but then i read this, and it is yet again so clear that we cannot escape it. it's there, a part of our conscious life, our fears and hopes and the future we dream about. i only hope that i can do my part to change this world by not letting it eat me and come between me and other people og this world.

i hope you will be able to enjoy this view for as long as you please.

happy week to you :)

a world of memories, and these tears... they are and will ever be with us honey. I am drowning in tears as I am writing these, but as you know, no way, we always need to leave and go, so that we can reach the newer and better; and that would not be possible without all the beautiful memories of the past, family and home town will always be with us.
along with smiles and tears.
kisses and love to you
